Per person over 2 or 3 day stay (min 4 people).
We will swim, bike and run the key elements of the course with you. 2-day minimum booking includes 2 car transfers (to sea swim and run).
Per Person. We will film you in 4K at 120fps and play back in slow mo to analyse your footstrike and ankle / knee / hip / spine biomechanics. Help to stave off future running injuries.
Per Person. We will film your open water swim technique and help you improve in racing conditions. Kayak cover provided for safety. Long open water session 80min.
Per Person. We will film your pool swim technique and help you improve your efficiency. 60min.
120min in our workshop. This could change your pace on the bike dramatically, in particular the second half of the ride. If you're good on the bike, your run will also benefit - a bad bike position could compromise your IT band, lower back, shoulders, neck and/or hip flexors, stopping you later on from completing the run section of this epic course.
Do you train with data? This test is highly revealing as it pinpoints your lactate threshold accurately against both power output and Heart Rate. The data allows you to train with deliberate focus at your precise threshold, to deliver on your planned progressive overload strategy.
£50 per person (min 4). This workout goes to help the RMA. The 2021 Royal Marines Iron Challenge is not just a test of fitness and spirit, it is also a celebration of the world's ultimate amphibious force. Fundraising for the RMA is a key part of the event ethos. Many of our marshals, crew and staff are ex-marines. 120min in our workshop. Learn the basics so a minor mechanical fault will not spoil your big day and waste all those months of training.
Learn the basics - 60 min session. Ongoing coaching programmes on-line and 1:1 starting £30 per hour.
Per Person. From this interview process (and informed by your performance assessment results) we create and refine with you a flexible 4-12 month Training Plan to build you into a long-distance triathlon machine.
Minimum subscription per week - inlcudes 10min 1:1 Zoom weekly checkin with your coach and program refresh. Our coaches are specialists in working with you 1:1 to help you modify your training program as necessary to fit round your busy schedule and other commitments. If you're pressed for time you definitely need one of our coaches to help you navigate your other pressures yet still succeed in your iron race. If your training time is limited, make every hour count.
Per Person Per Day. Home made sourdough or white pizza bread sandwiches, fruit, fluids, electrolytes, energy bars - all you need at the half way point to get you through a 100-200km training session. Vegan energy is our speciality.
Per Person per meal (min 4). I will teach you some of my favourite Italian recipes but "veganised". If you're interested in exploring vegan cuisine or in learning how at age 58 I am in better mood, better shape, have better performance, higher energy levels, and achieved easy to maintain weight loss, I'll come to your accommodation and cook dinner with you / for you, and we'll eat it together. Per Person for 6 hour half day outing. We have a variety of single and tandem kayaks to offer you an alternative training session. Kayaks are a great workout for your shoulders, arms and core, which translates to swimming fitness. Explore some of Devon's hidden jewels accessible only by sea. When we're not swimming, riding or running, we're kayaking.
